OBERD Attends the Orthopaedic Trauma Association's Annual Meeting Virtually
10/08/20
OBERD is attending the Orthopaedic Trauma Association’s (OTA) Annual Meeting, virtually October 21-24, to showcase the use of outcome measurements, analyze the pros and cons of data collection, and discuss the successful launch of AO Global Data (AOGD).
OBERD's live presentation with Dr.Suk and Dr.Rodriguez will evaluate how they use patient-reported outcomes data to continuously monitor and improve quality. They'll also share their personal experiences implementing successful patient-reported data collection programs, pitfalls to avoid, and weigh in on what to look for in a data collection platform.
OBERD will, also, present the new collaboration created by the AO foundation and OBERD as AO Global Data (AOGD). With over a billion data points it is already the world’s largest orthopedic outcomes database.
AOGD benefits include:
- Determine indicators for patient improvement or poor outcomes
- Compare performance against global repository
- Improve workflow
- Conduct multinational research
- Deliver data-driven marketing
- Leverage data for reimbursement
AOGD brings together advancements in computer science, including Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT), machine learning and artificial intelligence, with the authority, leadership, and integrity of the AO Foundation to connect different needs and outlooks of researchers and clinicians.
