What You Will Do

The Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. The Support Specialist monitors equipment, network and software platforms and works closely with our IT vendors, management and employees. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for employee technical support
  • Support end-users on all applications and software products
  • Troubleshooting of PCs, peripherals, and basic LAN hardware
  • Perform PC software setup and configuration
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Administer existing systems to ensure structural integrity and promote automation practices
  • Recommend, develop, and implement cloud-based and on-premise applications, infrastructures, and software components required to meet the business’s needs.
  • Perform remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of technological problems for a variety of employees and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience
  • Familiarity with Windows & Mac operating systems
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • The ability to prioritize while providing superior service and follow-through
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, vendors and management
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve successful outcomes in handling difficult situations
  • High attention to detail and proven organizational abilities

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cyber security
