Sarah Jouras, Manager of Patient Experience of Midwest Orthopedics at RUSH (MOR) shared how they solved “a massive paper shuffle for each patient” requiring “extensive staff time to process”. She presented their OBERD digital patient intake system where patients could complete their registration, history, consent and PRO forms before or at the practice with any digital tool that could access the Internet. Sarah detailed how the OBERD system allowed their staff to repurpose their time from manually inputting the patient data to supporting physician needs and attending to patient interests and questions. She indicated that this solution has saved substantial time and money for MOR.
